Board Certified Orthodontist:

Dr. Luu is Board Certified, a diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics, and a member of the American Dental Association.

  • An orthodontist is a dentist who has completed an American Dental Association accredited graduate program in the specialty of orthodontics. A dentist who graduates from a specialty program becomes an orthodontic specialist and is eligible to become board certified.
  • A board certified orthodontist becomes board certified through the voluntary examination process of The American Board of Orthodontics (ABO). Involvement in the certification process is a demonstration of the orthodontist’s pursuit of continued proficiency and excellence.

Personalized Treatment:

Dr. Luu will see you at each visit. Some offices only allow for limited time with the orthodontist, Dr. Luu prefers to give each patient his expertise and his undivided attention.

Timing of Treatment:

Dr. Luu feels that each patient should have appliances placed at the most appropriate age when they will get the maximum benefit in the least amount of time. Although there are some problems that should be addressed early, he prefers, if possible, to wait until most (if not all) of the permanent teeth are present before beginning treatment.

Shorter Treatment Time:

By using a low-friction bracket system, the number of office visits, level of discomfort, and overall treatment time may be reduced significantly. This system uses light, active forces and offers our patients more flexibility and convenience but less pain.

Treatment Options:

Dr. Luu offers several treatment options to suit your specific needs and desires. Some of the treatment options include traditional metal braces, low-friction (or self-ligating) braces, ceramic (clear) braces, and Invisalign.

Flexible Payment Terms:

Dr. Luu’s office makes a strong effort to provide payment terms to suit every budget. This includes in-house financing (interest free), setting up automatic monthly payments for your convenience, and long-term payment options.

Convenient Insurance Processing:

Dr. Luu’s office accepts assignment of benefit from most major insurance carriers. We file the necessary forms as a courtesy to our patients so they are not required to continually fill out reimbursement forms.

Dr. Luu has a state-of-the-art office with all of the latest technology. We use digital x-rays and a patient management software along with digital patient treatment records that help keep our office organized and efficient. We also offer the very latest in treatment appliances and techniques to provide the most minimally invasive treatment possible for our patients.
